Our Story
Since 2001, What’s the Scoop has been serving the people and families of Metuchen homemade ice cream made from the finest ingredients. Located in the center of downtown, Scoop has been the go to spot for the locals after school or after the game.

"We only went here because the Sundae School was closed. However, it turned out to be the best ice cream EVER! I had Almond Joy ice cream, after a difficult decision because there were so many choices. I've never had a more realistic tasting, delicious Almond Joy ice cream. My husband said there were supposed to be real pieces of Almond Joy in it, and it was obvious that there was. We will be back!"
"After supper we took the whole family here for ice cream. We are glad we did. The cones were huge, prices were comparable and the ice cream was delicious. I am sure I will never find that flavor anywhere else. It was delicious and the medium was just enough. If your looking for a place for ice cream with friendly service please stop here!"
